Syria denies Assad 'convoy attack'

Syrian state television has broadcast images of President Assad praying at a mosque to mark the end of Ramadan, after a reported attack on his convoy in Damascus.

An opposition fighter told the Reuters news agency rebel rockets hit the president's motorcade, but the Syrian government says the reports are "totally false".
