Syria crisis: Cameron says 'We were never going to agree'

Prime Minister David Cameron has said an agreement on Syria was "never going to be reached" at the G20 Summit.

Discussions between world leaders about the crisis took place on Thursday evening in St Petersburg, with President Obama pushing for support for a US strike.

Mr Cameron said he would respect a decision from British MPs not to partake in military action, but would support Mr Obama's efforts to uphold "the international taboo against the use of chemical weapons".
