Morsi trial 'kangaroo court', says former adviser

A former adviser to Mohammed Morsi has told the BBC that the trial of the former Egyptian president is a kangaroo court.

Mr Morsi and 14 other Muslim Brotherhood figures are due to go on trial on Monday, accused of inciting the killing of protesters in clashes outside the presidential palace.

Wael Haddara was Mr Morsi's senior communication adviser and was in constant contact with him during the last few days of his presidency.

He spoke to the BBC's Shaimaa Khalil.
