Egypt jails girls over pro-Morsi demonstration
Human rights groups in Egypt have criticised the lengthy prison sentences given to a group of female Islamist protesters.
The 21 women and teenage girls were arrested last month after a demonstration in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria in support of the ousted President Mohammed Morsi.
They were convicted of various charges including incitement to violence and damage to property and sentenced to 11 years in prison.
