Egypt elects new leader to steer country out of crisis

Egyptians are voting in presidential elections, which are expected to bring to power the former army chief who ousted the elected president last year.

Former army chief Abdul Fattah al-Sisi ousted the Islamist Mohammed Morsi in July, after massive public protests.

Supporters say he is the strong leader Egypt needs, while opponents say he will bring back authoritarian rule.
