British boy and mother escape Syria after three years
The mother of a six year old British boy, trapped in Syria for three years, has spoken of her relief as she and her son finally reached safety by crossing the border into Jordan.
Birmingham-born Muadh Zein and his mother were stuck in the Deraa area, an opposition stronghold where the uprising started in 2011.
His father, Wael, lives in the UK and is hoping to welcome him back soon.
