Iraq mounts insurgent fight back
The Iraqi army, along Kurdish and Shia militias, are resisting the Sunni insurgents who have seized several cities and are closing in on Baghdad.
The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) is a hardline Islamist militant group which has fought against the Shia-dominated government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
