Syria conflict: Record toll in two days of clashes
Syria has suffered some of its deadliest fighting since the conflict began more than three years ago.
Some 700 people were killed in just two days after government forces fought rebels are they captured a gas field just east of the central city of Homs. It is the highest death toll in a 24 hour period since the war began.
