Islamic State crisis: People flee fighting at Kobane

The latest Islamic state offensive has focused on the strategic border town of Kobane in Syria, just metres from the border with Turkey.

The fierce fighting has sent around 160,000 people fleeing across the border into Turkey fearing a repeat of the atrocities against the Yazidi community in Northern Iraq.

Correspondent Paul Wood is one of the first western journalists to gain access to Kobane.
