Fiancee of al-Jazeera journalist on hopes for release
The fiancee of Mohamed Fahmy, one of three al-Jazeera journalists jailed in Egypt, has spoken to the BBC following the order of a retrial.
Marwa Omar said she had hoped for Mr Fahmy's immediate release but was now hoping he could be deported to Canada.
Mr Fahmy along with Peter Greste and Baher Mohamed were were accused of aiding the banned organisation the Muslim Brotherhood after the overthrow of President Mohammed Morsi by the military in 2013.
The three journalists have now spent a year in jail since they were first arrested in December 2013.
