Obama: 'No good reason' not to engage with Iran

Barack Obama believes there is "no good reason" not to negotiate with Iran over the country's nuclear programme.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is unhappy with President Obama's position on this issue.

However the US president says the Israeli PM made "all sorts of claims" before the previous deal and "none of that has come true".

Obama believes that sanctions or military action would be unable to provide as much as assurance as the negotiations.
