UN envoy to Syria on push for localised ceasefire in Aleppo
Four years since the war in Syria in began, efforts even to agree a freeze on hostilities in one area in the conflict are proving difficult.
The UN Envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura, has said the plan for a local ceasefire in Aleppo was intended to serve as a foundation to move toward broader political negotiations to end a war that has already claimed more than 220,000 lives.
The BBC's Lyse Doucet asked Staffan de Mistura what President Assad had agreed to.
