Syria conflict: The children paying the price of war

It is five years since the start of uprisings in Syria against President Bashar al-Assad. The crackdown that followed led to a conflict that has claimed the lives of a quarter of a million people and left more than half the population displaced.

Many of those affected have been children it is thought around seven and a half million need humanitarian aid.

The BBC has spoken to three children, in Amman, in Damascus and in Ketermaya, who have fled the conflict. Caroline Hawley starts in Amman with 5 year-old Mustafa.
