Syria minister: 'We will respond to Turkey's violation'

Syria will "act accordingly" to defend itself after Turkey invaded northern Syria, deputy foreign minister Faisal Mekdad tells the BBC's Lyse Doucet.

He also describes the US's new Syria policy - to maintain an open-ended military presence in Syria - as a "devastating mistake".
