Cargo plane devices have 'al-Qaeda hallmarks'

US Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has said two explosive devices found at East Midlands airport and in Dubai had the hallmarks of al-Qaeda or al-Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula.

The explosives were in printer cartridges being transported by freight aircraft from Yemen to the US.

Police in Dubai have already said the style of the device they found was that used by "terrorist organisations like al-Qaeda".

Janet Napolitano was asked on Good Morning America on ABC News if the US authorities agreed.
