Colleague says 'miraculous' Congresswoman is alive

Colleagues of US Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords have expressed outrage over her shooting.

The Arizona Democrat was shot in the head at an event she was hosting in Tucson. Six people were killed and 13 wounded in the attack.

Arizona State Senator Linda Lopez, a colleague and friend of Ms Giffords said it was a miracle the congresswoman was still alive.
