Mitt Romney's staff play April fool's trick

Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney was caught out by his own campaign workers on April Fool's Day when they took him to a fake campaign event in an empty room.

Mr Romney had expected to talk to supporters at a campaign brunch in Wisconsi, which votes in a key primary election on Tuesday.

But after an introduction from local Republican Congressman Paul Ryan, Mr Romney turned the corner and was greeted only by his own staff shouting "April Fool".

A member of the Romney campaign staff later posted the video online.
