Las Vegas foreclosures key to kickstarting US recovery
Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have made repeated visits to Nevada during the presidential campaign in a bid to win the key swing state.
With an unemployment rate of 12.1% - the worst in the nation - talking about the recovery has not been an easy sell for the president here.
But Mr Romney has found it hard to capitalise. Earlier this year he suggested the housing market needed to "bottom out", a solution that has not gone down well with residents trapped in a foreclosure crisis which has caused the price of their homes to plummet.
Economists warn that the housing crisis is still a significant drag on the overall US economy. But does either candidate have a plan to fix it? The BBC's Katty Kay reports from Las Vegas.
