Americans on Margaret Thatcher's legacy
Margaret Thatcher, the former prime minister of the United Kingdom and the sole woman yet to hold that role, has died at the age of 87.
During her time as prime minister, Lady Thatcher forged a strong working relationship with then-US President Ronald Reagan. As a result, she was one of the few foreign politicians who enjoyed a high profile in America.
The BBC spoke to Americans attending the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC about Lady Thatcher and her legacy.
