Edward Snowden's father 'thankful' to Russia

The father of US whistleblower Edward Snowden has said he is "extremely thankful" to Russia for granting his son asylum.

Speaking to journalists after arriving in Moscow, Lon Snowden said he hoped to learn more about Edward's situation while in Russia.
