Education and jobs help stop crime - Philadelphia mayor
Responding to a question about violence within the African-American community in the US, the Mayor of Philadelphia, Michael Nutter, said there needs to be more investment in education and job training.
"When people are educated and can get a job, they're not involved in violence, they are not involved crime," said Mr Nutter.
The mayor, who was elected in 2007 and re-elected in 2011, has made reducing crime - particularly the city's murder rate - a focus of his time in office.
