Kerry: Russia trying to create chaos
Russia and the US have accused each other of failing to de-escalate the crisis in Ukraine after Kiev launched raids on pro-Moscow separatists.
Secretary of State John Kerry told reporters that Russia had "tried to create enough chaos in the east to delay or de-legitimise the election".
"This is a full-throated effort to actively sabotage the democratic process through gross external intimidation that has been brought inside Ukraine, and it is worse even," Mr Kerry said. He added: "We've seen this movie before... most recently in Crimea".
