Nevada: Lucky escape as flood sweeps minivan off road

Mobile phone footage has captured the moment a minivan, carrying a couple, was swept off Interstate 15 in Moapa, Nevada, by floodwater.

Loren and Margie Miller opened their doors to try and escape but she slipped out of his hands.

Margie struggled to stay afloat in the muddy current while Loren was still stranded on top of the van until nearby construction workers came to rescue him.

Both walked away uninjured.
