US veterans return to Afghan frontline as part of PTSD therapy
For American combat troops leaving Afghanistan and returning home to join the hundreds of thousands of veterans already back in the USA, there is a daunting personal battle ahead.
Many end up suffering from unemployment, homelessness and drug and alcohol abuse, and as many as 22 committing suicide every day.
The BBC's Ian Pannell accompanied a group who are part of a unique programme that takes former combat troops back to the frontline.
