Massachusetts town hit by winter storm faces flooding

While New York seems to have avoided the worst of the winter storm currently hitting the east coast of the US, Massachusetts and Connecticut have seen around 2ft (60cm) of snow in badly hit areas.

Some houses have been evacuated and some have lost power.

The BBC's Gary O'Donoghue who is in the coastal town of Scituate in Massachusetts said the problem for the town would now be the flood water.
