BBC retraces Selma to Montgomery rights march

America is closing in on the 50th anniversary of one of the seminal moments of the country's civil rights movement, the march from Selma to Montgomery.

BBC correspondent Aleem Maqbool is retracing that journey on foot, looking at the issues that were resolved in 1965, and those that remain.

He starts in Selma with one of the student protest leaders at the time of the march.
