Marco Rubio launches 2016 White House run

Florida Senator Marco Rubio has announced his bid for the Republican nomination in the 2016 US presidential election race.

Speaking at a rally in Miami, he said the presidential election was "a generational choice" and warned against going back to "the leaders and ideas of the past".
