Poet Laureate writes dedication for Charleston victims
The poet laureate of South Carolina, Marjory Wentworth, has written a dedication to those who lost their lives in Wednesday's attack at the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston.
The poem, titled "Holy City", starts with a quote from the Reverend Clementa Pinckney, who was one of the nine victims: "Only love can conquer hate."
Here, she recites the poem for BBC News.
