Jon Stewart prepares to leave Daily Show

Jon Stewart has been hosting the Daily Show for 16 years. On Thursday he signs off for good, leaving the fake news desk to pursue other projects.

The show will continue with new host Trevor Noah, but Stewart leaves a long legacy of funny monologues and scathing media criticism.

For many millennials he has become a main source of news, even earning the title of America's most trusted newsperson in a 2009 TIME poll.

Nada Tawfik talks to fans and critics about Stewart's impact.
