Ferguson: Michael Brown shooting marked one year on

Hundreds of people have gathered in the US town of Ferguson, to mark the shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown by a white police officer, one a year ago.

The demonstrators held a moment of silence to mark Mr Brown's death.

The killing sparked protests and led to a year of heightened debate about issues of race and policing across the United States.
