Abortion debate: Running a major anti-abortion rally
Jeanne Mancini organises the anti-abortion rally March for Life.
Hundreds of thousands of people join the annual Washington protests which aims to outlaw terminating pregnancy. One of the groups Mancini campaigns against is Planned Parenthood.
Funding for the non-profit group is a highly divisive issue with conservative and anti-abortion groups alleging Planned Parenthood sold foetal parts for profit. Planned Parenthood says foetal tissue is strictly a donation and up to the women obtaining the abortion.
Most of Planned Parenthood's work is for women's health issues that are not related to abortion, and clinics are blocked from using any federal funds for abortions. But federal and state officials have sought to end funding for the group.
