Obama announces fresh Guantanamo closure plans

President Barack Obama has announced new plans to close the US prison for suspected Islamic extremists, at Guantanamo Bay, before he leaves office in less than a year.

But Republicans are already saying they will block the move as Gary O'Donoghue reports.
