Nancy Pelosi: John Conyers should resign over sex harassment claims

US House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi called on fellow Democrat John Conyers to resign on Thursday, saying sexual harassment allegations made against him were "serious, disappointing and very credible".

Three women have accused him in the last week.

The 88-year-old former civil rights activist's lawyer denied the allegations.
