Trudeau accuses India in killing of Canadian Sikh leader

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the Indian government could be behind the fatal shooting of Canadian Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Mr Nijjar, a Sikh activist, was shot dead in June outside a Sikh Temple in British Columbia.

Mr Trudeau told the House of Commons in Ottawa that the country's intelligence services had been actively pursuing credible links between India and the murder of Mr Nijjar.
