Spiritual adviser speaks about counselling man on his day of execution

Kenneth Smith is set to be the first prisoner executed by nitrogen gas. His spiritual adviser, Jeff Hood, spoke from outside the Holman Correctional Facility in Alabama about the experience of counselling Smith.

Hood, who plans to be in the execution chamber when Smith is executed, also discussed the risks he faces from the untested method.
