Jacob Rees-Mogg says energy cost burden must be shared

Plans to help businesses, schools and other organisations with spiralling energy costs this winter have been announced.

The six-month scheme will see caps placed on the unit price of gas and electricity.

Labour is demanding to know the cost and how the government will pay for it long term.

Industry groups welcomed the package but warned further support may be needed after the winter.
