Schools minister on GCSEs: "People can be confident of the grades awarded"

Schools minister Nick Gibb has said people should be confident in GCSE grades awarded this year.

Students have received another set of record marks, in the second year of Covid disruption to exams.

Mr Gibb also thanked teachers and said it was right to cancel exams given the upheaval cause by the pandemic.
