  1. Traitors bump off Charlie Teepublished at 10:17 GMT 31 October

The second murder has been committed.

This time, by order of Radio 1 listeners, it's Charlie Tee.

    Now, 10 players remain.

Tee, who admits she has never watched the show, doesn't seem too surprised.

What's really puzzling those in the Live Lounge is how murders are happening without any contestants leaving the room.

They're wondering if it's happening in plain sight.

Little do they know the wool has been pulled over their eyes.

It's time for the second murder, which is up to three new Radio 1 listeners.

As a reminder, and without the players knowing, the traitors in today's game are actually those listening.

Ash says Charlie Hedges needs to be murdered, to frame her co-presenter, Melvin Odoom.

For Steven, it's Charlie Tee who has to go - for the same set up on Melvin.

Amy is looking away from the RMC trio, and suggests voting out Dean McCullough may ruffle some feathers.

They'll now be discussing among themselves to reach a unanimous victim.

  3. Ore Olukoga first to be banishedpublished at 09:50 GMT 31 October

Matt Edmondson and the RMC triangle have been mentioned at the first round table.

But no name has come up more than Ore Olukoga.

His fellow faithfuls say he was too poker-faced when opening his envelope earlier, despite bumbling with nerves just before.

When the votes are in, it becomes clear that Ore is the first to be banished from the Live Lounge.

He’s received nine out of 12 possible votes - the other three went to Charlie Hedges.

"It's been a pleasure getting to know you... this has been one of the greatest experiences of my life," Ore tells the room.

When he reveals his faithful allegiance, the Live Lounge echoes with disappointment.

  4. Matt Edmondson 'genuinely' thought Rickie was a traitorpublished at 09:36 GMT 31 October

"By order of the traitors, they have murdered... Rickie Haywood-Williams," Greg James revealed to players after the first murder in today's game.

The ghost of Rickie tells the living in the Live Lounge that they "will know who has done this to me".

"That's all I can say," he says.

    Except, they don't.

Charlie Hedges isn't surprised by Rickie's innocence: "I called it. I know the boys too well, come on."

Matt Edmondson, though, "genuinely" thought Rickie was a traitor.

"It's thrown my whole game off," says Matt.

Rickie sat on a fabric chair with his arms crossed

I've just spoken with our first murder victim, Rickie Haywood-Williams, in a Radio 1 corridor.

He says he "doesn't mind" being the first out, but has strong theories about which of his fellow presenters might have picked him for the chop.

The first name on his list? Co-host Charlie Hedges.

He says he was watching Charlie closely when she opened her letter, and, knowing her well, says he "saw her in there".

Rickie had been taken to a room with Matt Edmondson and Danni Diston, and he says Matt immediately expressed his disappointment that he hadn't been chosen as a traitor.

"So he was setting a narrative straight away," Rickie says.

  8. Greg's traitors discuss who to murder firstpublished at 09:03 GMT 31 October

Audience Joe, Michelle and Jordan are the first three traitors in today's game.

Speaking from his turret - his work office - Joe says he'd like to murder Dean first.

For Michelle, it's Danni who has got to go, and it's because of a personal vendetta.

She accuses Danni of taking phone calls on loudspeaker in public - surely worthy of a murder.

But Jordan's preferred victim is Ricky - a big personality whose absence will up the angst in the Live Lounge.

  9. Check the weather before heading out of the graveyard, zombiespublished at 08:59 GMT 31 October

    Simon King
    Presenter and meteorologist, BBC Weather

While we wait for the first kill, let’s peer into the crystal ball and see what the weather has in store today.

Through today the skies will be cloaked in ominous clouds with haunting showers and the risk of thunderous booms, creeping eastward across the UK.

But as darkness falls and the witching hour approaches, most of those ghostly showers will vanish into the night.

But be aware – lingering rain might still haunt eastern areas of the UK from Gallows Hill, Aberdeenshire through Howl Moor, North Yorkshire and down to Pumpkin Hill, Buckinghamshire.

Elsewhere the clouds will clear revealing a moonlit sky. Perfect conditions for howling werewolves and wandering ghouls.

Hold on to your witches’ hats as the wind will still blow like a restless banshee, especially across western England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

And temperatures won’t send shivers down your spine – hovering around 11 to 15C - so you’ll stay warm enough for a midnight zombie march through the graveyard…if you dare.

Dean's already looking at Nat O'Leary, who he saw pursing her lips - she responds that there's nothing criminal about "looking sexy".

Nat says she was also watching everyone's body language.

Her theory is that Ore's face went from smiley to poker face in a split second.

Dean and Nat continue to trade accusations - we're only 30 minutes in and tempers are already flaring.

Dean rounds off the accusations by saying that James Cusack is "either a big sweaty man" (Alan Carr eat your heart out) or he's a traitor.

He’s even managed to beat Greg to explaining the rules for today’s game - which state that contestants won’t have access to their phones or Radio 1 for the duration.

Last year’s game master Matt Edmondson joins the ranks this year, alongside weekend presenters Nat O’Leary and Vicky Hawkesworth.

Presenters Lauren Layfield, Ore Olukoga and James Cusack will all, no doubt, be seeking advice from other players - but the real question is, who can they actually trust?

Up on the BBC’s eighth floor, a Halloween tradition is unfolding once again.

Last year, the station’s self-proclaimed "games master" Matt Edmondson hosted Brought to Tears, where presenters faced off in cruel challenges to avoid being eliminated.

Over the past week, Radio 1’s DJs have been receiving an ominous call to arms.

The presenters have been told only that they’re to meet Greg James in the Live Lounge for breakfast at 08:00 this morning.

Now, it’s my turn - I’m making my way up the spiral staircases after getting my own invitation upstairs.

As I join the Radio 1 presenters heading for breakfast with Greg, will it be a trick or a treat?

We’ll have all the updates as this year’s game is announced right here, and you can follow along to the Radio 1 feed by tapping Listen live at the top of the page.
