Let me begin with a health warning. This is just from one source, but it’s a good source.

And they reckon Liz Truss could - I emphasise could - lose her seat of South West Norfolk.

If that happens I wouldn’t have the adjectives to do justice to it.

  13. Analysis

How are the parties faring?published at 04:37 British Summer Time 5 July

    Professor Sir John Curtice
    Polling expert

Labour are continuing to progress towards their expected landslide victory, winning previously safe Tory seats across the country.

Their gains are largely on the back of a dramatic 20-point decline in Conservative support.

Labour's own vote is expected to be up by just under four points across the country, entirely as a result of a 20 point increase in support in Scotland.

In Wales, the party's vote has actually fallen back by four points, while in England the party's vote is largely unchanged from 2019.

  17. Gaza potentially costs Labour in Leicester Eastpublished at 04:33 British Summer Time 5 July

    Professor Sir John Curtice
    BBC polling expert

It may seem like a while ago now, but the Conservatives made their first gain over an hour ago in Leicester East.

Labour's vote there is down 29 points in a seat that was fought by the former Labour MP Keith Vaz and more than one pro-Gaza independent candidate.

This looks like a seat where Gaza has cost Labour dearly.
