    Johnny Mercer, who was the Conservative minister for veterans' affairs, has lost his seat to Labour in Plymouth Moor View.

    Fred Thomas won 17,665 votes, beating Mercer who took 12,061.

    Reform UK chairman Richard Tice has won the seat of Boston and Skegness.

    In his victory speech, he says his party had no money three years ago and was "sneered and mocked by so many".

    "Across the whole of England, Scotland and Wales, millions and millions of people have today voted for Reform UK," he says.

    "We're winning seats, we're coming second all over the country. It's truly remarkable."

    Conservative Party Chairman Richard Holden has beaten Labour by just 20 votes, in Basildon and Billericay in Essex.

    Richard Holden won 12,905 votes, pipping Labour's Alex Harrison who got 12,885.

    Reform came in third, with 11,354.

    A very tight race - with the result only confirmed after a recount.

    Conservative Penny Mordaunt loses seat to Labour

    Leader of the House of Commons Penny Mordaunt has narrowly lost in her now former Portsmouth North constituency.

    Traditionally a bellwether seat, Labour's Amanda Martin has won with 14,495 votes, to Mordaunt's 13,715 - an 18% swing.
