The final scores are in. And the winner is...

Jeremy Corbyn on 69, followed by the prime minister on 67; Tim Farron went to 51 constituencies and Nicola Sturgeon to 48.

The caveats are that visits to home constituencies have not been included (bar Ms Sturgeon's as she is a MSP), nor have campaign stops at the Cities of London and Westminster (except Theresa May’s trip to Smithfields this morning).

  6. Commentators may have made big mistake - Corbynpublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 7 June 2017

Jeremy Corbyn says he wants "fairness across the whole country - it's the most important word I will say in this campaign".

He says that seven weeks ago, political commentators decided the result of the election.

"I have to say they may just have made a very big mistake.

"Our campaign has grown day by day, our membership has grown day by day... because we are offering something different," he says, to huge cheers from lively supporters.

Another hour, another rally. Jeremy Corbyn is in Harrow East, in north London, on his 89th rally of the campaign.

He repeats his message that tomorrow voters have a choice of another five years of austerity and under-investment if they vote Conservative.

Labour, he says, are offering something very different to our society.

"No-one can say there wasn't a choice" in the 2017 election, he adds.

  11. Farron reaches out to non-Lib Demspublished at 18:58 British Summer Time 7 June 2017

    Farron

The Liberal Democrat leader, Tim Farron, has urged all voters to back his party to "change Britain's future" and ensure they are not "taken for-granted" by a Conservative government.

On a campaign visit to Bath, Mr Farron gave a warning that a landslide for the Conservatives would mean a "dementia tax", more police cuts and continued under funding of schools and hospitals in England.

He told activists that a vote for the Lib Dems would be a vote against the Conservatives' plans, and for a penny on income tax to boost health and social care funding and the funding schools and hospitals deserved.

He said: "Whether you are normally our supporter, or not, you can be sure you'll give the west country its strongest possible voice against a Conservative government that is determined to take you for granted."

  16. May: Brexit is the basis of everythingpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 7 June 2017

    May

Theresa May has placed the emphasis on Brexit in the final day of campaigning, telling BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg: "There are challenges ahead. The Brexit negotiations, we need to get those right. Brexit is the basis of everything.

"We need to secure our economy for the future, we need to ensure we are getting more jobs, better paid jobs, more opportunities for young people in this country."

She denied she had not been straight with voters on a number of policies, including how many pensioners would be affected by cuts to the winter fuel allowance.

"We have set out in our manifesto the challenges we face as a country and how we as government would deliver on those challenges, how we would ensure that we were addressing those challenges."

She also highlighted differences between herself and Jeremy Corbyn on security and policing: "You just have to look at the approaches we take on a whole range of things to know how different we are... I support the police shooting to kill terrorists. Jeremy Corbyn does not."
