Andrew Neil takes Sunday Politics viewers through some figures from Thursday night.
Theresa May had the "charisma of this desk, perhaps less charisma than this desk" says commentator Julia Hartley-Brewer, when asked about the election result by Andrew Neil on the Sunday Politics.
And, she said, "another leader could have just walked that with a 100 majority against Jeremy Corbyn”.
Political columnist and broadcaster Steve Richards spoke of a "substantial historical achievement for Jeremy Corbyn", despite him only getting a similar number of seats as Gordon Brown in 2010.
And the Sun’s Tom Newton-Dunn claimed: “The public got to know her and discovered she was a ‘May-Bot’... that is going to be the term that is going to stick forever from this campaign.”

The Labour leader was asked if he would bring back those MPs who have previously criticised him.

UKIP's Suzanne Evans has confirmed that she has breast cancer.
The former deputy chairwoman of UKIP - and 2016 leadership contender - posted the news on her Facebook account, external on Sunday.
Ms Evans, who earlier in her political career was a Conservative councillor for the London borough of Merton, said she would be taking a break from active politics, but expected to make a full recovery.
Quote MessageEarlier this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had surgery in April, just a few days before Theresa May called the general election, and so I put my plans to take time out to rest and recover on hold. Now the election is over, I intend to take a holiday from active politics, at least until the autumn. I am mid-way through a course of radiotherapy, started two weeks ago, and I would like to say a huge and heartfelt ‘thank you’ to everyone at the Royal Marsden and the Rose Centre at St George’s hospital, in London. I am being looked after amazingly well and feel incredibly lucky to have had my cancer diagnosed at an early stage. I expect to make a full recovery."
