    Jess Glynne is nominated for three awards - and is just a tad excited about it. 

    She told the BBC she had been "jumping around all day" and was "feeling great".

    Looking back into the history of the Brits, here are a few facts about the UK music industry's biggest night of the year.

    Most awards in one night: Blur - who won Best British Group, Best British Single, Best British Video and Best British Album for Parklife in 1995.

    Most awards in total: Robbie Williams - whose shelves support a staggering 17 awards - 12 of them as a solo artist and five as part of Take That.

    First performers: Procul Harum, who opened the 1977 show with A Whiter Shade of Pale.

    Most snubs: Radiohead have been nominated 16 times, but have come home empty handed every time.

    Success begets success: According to the Official Charts Company, the last five Best British Album winners have averaged 1,799,276 sales up until the day they won the Brit. The only nominee to pass that milestone this year? Adele.

    There's been a lot, external of speculation, external Rihanna would pull out of her performance at the Brits, after she caught bronchitis and cancelled on the Grammys last week.

    But shortly after midnight, the Bajan star popped up on Twitter to confirm the show would go on.

  10. Welcome to our live coverage of the Brits 2016published at 17:29 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2016

    It's the biggest night in British music - and it's finally here.

    We're going to be bringing you all the breaking news on what is going on at the O2 tonight. 

    So that's all you need to know on who's there, what they're wearing and - of course - who wins what. 

    And how could we forget the performances? Adele is going to be singing, as is Rihanna, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd and Little Mix. There's even going to be a tribute to David Bowie as well. 

    We're even going to tell you what food the celebs will be served during the evening.

    The ceremony starts at 20:00 GMT, so hold on to your hats as the build up starts right here. Don't go anywhere...
