  1. Red carpet arrivals beginpublished at 17:00

There's a nice chap who works in our office called Tim. We like Tim.

Tim is not working in our office today though.

The lucky little scamp is down at the Royal Festival Hall. On the red carpet. With all the stars. In the sunshine.

    We're not jealous at all.

Tim is going to helping us with tonight's coverage, tweeting photos and sending us lots of backstage gossip.

He'll mostly be tweeting from our official account, @BBCNewsEnts, external, so do give us a follow for all the latest red carpet and backstage photos.

It of course goes without saying, that there will be spoilers in this page.

As the ceremony is on a one-hour TV delay, it means we will be revealing the winners of the awards in this page before you actually see it happening on television.

Therefore, if you'd rather wait and be surprised rather than know who wins what in advance, do not look at this page.

If, on the other hand, you want to be the coolest kid on your block and know all the winners before everyone else, do please stay with us.

  4. Timeline of the 2016 Bafta TV awardspublished at 16:38

The first thing you're probably wondering is "Why are you starting the live page so early, when the Baftas aren't on telly until 8pm?"

    Good question.

The answer is, things actually get underway much earlier than that, and the ceremony goes out on TV an hour later, for editing purposes (i.e. so they can edit out any naughty words.)

    Here's the schedule:

    17.00 Red carpet arrivals commence

    18:15 Doors to auditorium open

18:40 Red carpet arrivals draw to a close and all guests  must be seated

    19:00  Ceremony commences

20:00 Ceremony begins broadcast on BBC One

    21:30   Ceremony finishes
