    West Midlands Ambulance Service has said a woman died after suffering serious head injuries when a piece of debris fell on to a street in Wolverhampton.

    Network Rail says Storm Doris has caused "significant disruption throughout the country", with an enforced speed limit on some lines. Services linking London with Manchester and Liverpool are among those affected.

    Meanwhile, there were reports of trees felled by the winds across the country, with a man being trapped in a van on the A374 in Cornwall. Other trees collapsed on to houses in London and Wigan.
