14:10 GMT 23 March 2017BreakingUS tourist Kurt Cochran is named as the third victim of the London terror attack. His wife Melissa has been seriously injured and is in hospital.
A statement from her brother Clint Payne said:
Quote Message"Our family is heartbroken to learn of the death of our brother - and son-in-law - Kurt W. Cochran. Kurt was a good man and a loving husband to our sister and daughter, Melissa. They were in Europe to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, and were scheduled to return to the United States on Thursday. Melissa also received serious injuries in the attack, and is being cared for in the hospital. We express our gratitude to the emergency and medical personnel who have cared for them and ask for your prayers on behalf of Melissa and our family. Kurt will be greatly missed, and we ask for privacy as our family mourns and as Melissa recovers from her injuries."

Muddassar Ahmed, who witnessed Wednesday's attack, set up the website with Akeela Ahmed on Thursday morning to help victims and their families and "lessen their burden in some way".
He called on "British Muslims, mosques, Imams, leaders, and groups to endorse and promote this initiative".

13:47 GMT 23 March 2017The Muslim Council of Britain has condemned the attack and said its secretary general, Harun Khan, will join thousands of Londoners, including Muslims, at Trafalgar Square this evening.
"This attack was cowardly and depraved," Mr Khan said: "There is no justification for this act whatsoever.
"The best response to this outrage is to make sure we come together in solidarity and not allow the terrorists to divide us.
"My condolences, thoughts and prayers go to the families of the victims.
"I hope my Muslim brothers and sisters will reach out to fellow Londoners and Britons in solidarity to demonstrate that such hatred will not defeat our way of life."

13:11 GMT 23 March 2017Security Minister Ben Wallace refused to "speculate" over reports that a minister's bodyguard - not armed security - shot the attacker.
But he insisted "security is robust" and that the assailant was "stopped with lethal force".
"That assailant didn’t get more than 20 yards into Parliament, we shouldn’t forget that," he told BBC Two's Daily Politics.
Mr Wallace added that there were "plenty" of security plans that people did not know about. "They are there to keep people as safe as possible," he said.

13:05 GMT 23 March 2017London Ambulance Service has confirmed paramedics took 23 patients to hospital following yesterday’s attack.
Medical Director Dr Fenella Wrigley said those treated had a “variety of injuries”, some serious.
“We have specialist response teams trained to deal with this type of incident and they were on scene quickly yesterday treating patients,” she said.
