This terrorist attack is an attack on all communities including Muslim communities. Every time a terrorist attack takes place, Muslim communities either face or fear a backlash against them. 6. 'Knife was dripping with blood'published at 14:14 British Summer Time 5 June 2017

One woman who was caught up in Saturday's events has described how she managed to avoid the attackers.

    Quote Message

I was just about to leave the Market Porter pub to meet my daughter at a nightclub in Holyrood Street, when a man came running in to warn us that men were at large and stabbing people. The doors of the pub were consequently locked and we were safe. I remember looking out the window and seeing the terrorist with the pink striped top and a large knife dripping with blood. Shortly after that we heard the gun shots. We didn't know that it was the police and so we ran downstairs away from the windows in case the gunfire came through the windows. I really wish I could thank the man that came in and warned us not to go out."
