It's still a good hour before the riders hit South Yorkshire but the spectators are out starting to line the route once again - some going to great lengths (or should that be heights?) to ensure a good view.

After about 10 minutes of racing six riders have broken clean of the pack an opened up a lead of about two minutes.
Meanwhile One Pro Cycling's Rich Handley has claimed the first King of the Mountain points after racing to the top of the Cote de Harewood. Remember there are two more categorised climbs to go.

The 135km Stage Two includes sprint sections in Scholes and Warmsworth and three classified climbs; Cote de Harewood, Cote de East Rigton and Cote de Consibrough Castle.

Stage Two features three classified climbs: Cote de Harewood, Cote de East Rigton and Cote de Conisbrough Castle.

The race was won by Dutch cyclist Dylan Groenewegen of Team Lotto NL-Jumbo.
