    Hertfordshire pilot Andy Hill, who was flying the Hawker Hunter jet which crashed on to the A27 during a display at the Shoreham air show last August, is due to be interviewed again, police have said.

    An interim report into the crash, which left 11 people dead, has revealed a catalogue of missed opportunities to prevent the accident. The findings from the Air Accident Investigation Branch, external have also criticised the event's "inadequate" risk management procedure.  

    Sussex Police says its investigation is ongoing and Mr Hill, from Sandon, will be interviewed again "in due course".

    It follows suggestions in The Sun newspaper that the Queen wanted Britain to leave the European Union in the forthcoming referendum - a claim strenuously denied by Buckingham Palace.

    "We don't discuss the views of the monarch in this chamber," John Bercow said. "I think it's best we leave it there."

    Confusion is being caused by the government's counter terrorism strategy in schools, according to two of Britiain's unions representing teachers.

    The mother of a four-year-old from Luton says she was shocked when staff at his nursery wanted to place him on a de-radicalisation programme because of some pictures he'd drawn.

    The mother said staff told her a particular drawing "of a man cutting a cucumber", was a problem: "She said to me [it's] a 'cooker bomb'." 

    But the mum concluded it was due to the way her son said cucumber. The boy wasn't placed on a programme in the end. Hear the full report at 13:00 and 17:00 here.

    A 92-year-old woman from Milton Keynes fell victim to an attempted distraction burglary on Monday when a man knocked on her door and said he was from the water board.

    Described as white, 5ft 7ins and in his late 40s or 50s, he called at the home in Crispin Road, Bradville, at about 19:00, where he asked her to turn taps on and off repeatedly.

    When the offender left, the woman found her cupboards upstairs were open. Police, external are reminding people to ask any cold callers for ID.

    A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in High Wycombe this morning on suspicion of terror offences.

    The teenager was arrested on suspicion of arranging funds or property for the purposes of terrorism.

    The South East Counter Terrorism Unit made the arrest, which was pre-planned, alongside Thames Valley Police, who say the investigation "should have very little impact on residents".

    A young child has been taken to hospital with burns after a house fire in Luton yesterday afternoon which was caused by a hair dryer.

    Fire crews were called to Telscombe Way just before 14:30 to the fire in an upstairs bedroom.

    The child suffered 20% burns to its legs and face, but Bedfordshire Fire Service say the mother was alerted by a smoke alarm fitted by them during an earlier safety check.

    A motorist believes he may have been a target in a "crash for cash" scam after filming a vehicle swerving towards his car and then braking suddenly.

    Audi driver Stephen Phillips captured the incident on his dashcam as he travelled towards Berkhamsted on the A41 near Bourne End on Monday morning. The footage shows a red car pull in front of Mr Phillips car and "slam on his brakes".

    Hertfordshire Police said it is investigating the incident.

    A Dunstable school has responded to reports it warned parents children would be given toast if they hadn't paid for their children's meals, saying pupils would be fed from the breakfast club or after-school menu instead.

    The Lancot Lower School, external says its catering company is owed about £1,000 with some parents owing more than £100.

    Stephen Chamberlain, chief executive of the Challenger Multi Academy Trust, which runs the school, said it had told parents that if there's a problem to come and talk to them and the Trust would be "more than happy to discuss different ways of resolving that problem".

    Police in Milton Keynes say they've already made one rescue from floods today.

    They are warning motorists some rural roads are still under water.

    The MP for Mid-Bedfordshire, Nadine Dorries, has called for a "full consultation" over plans to relax Sunday trading laws.

    The government has abandoned proposals to give councils the power to allow large shops to open longer than the current six hour limit after being defeated in the Commons yesterday. Twenty-seven Conservative MPs, including Ms Dorries, joining opposition parties to throw out the move.

    She told the Commons: "If we really want to do this let's put it in the Queen's Speech, let's have a public debate, let the public know about it properly and let's have a full consultation."
