Developers who have submitted plans to build 3,000 homes on the edge of Aylesbury say they will "fully" address concerns raised by Hampden Fields Action Group.
The Hampden Fields Consortium, comprised of Taylor Wimpey, Aylesbury College and the Fairfield Partnership, says it is aware of the "objection to the planning application" but that "the lack of housing supply is a major issue".
In a statement the group says that the site is "sustainable" and will comprise a "new link road, schools, community facilities" and more.

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has told today's news conference he is having to think very carefully about team selection.
It comes ahead of a spell that includes not only this Saturday's game against West Brom, but a midweek meeting with West Ham and next weekend's FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace.
He said: "I think it’s the first time during the season we have to think seriously in two matches – against West Brom and West Ham... I don't like to mix but in terms of choosing players we need to think about it.
"We will try to show players every single player has a good opportunity [to play at Wembley]. You ask the players what do you prefer, to play at Wembley or West Brom? Everyone would want to say Wembley but we say the most important match is the next one."
