    Developers who have submitted plans to build 3,000 homes on the edge of Aylesbury say they will "fully" address concerns raised by Hampden Fields Action Group.

    The Hampden Fields Consortium, comprised of Taylor Wimpey, Aylesbury College and the Fairfield Partnership, says it is aware of the "objection to the planning application" but that "the lack of housing supply is a major issue".

    In a statement the group says that the site is "sustainable" and will comprise a "new link road, schools, community facilities" and more.

    A man went into HSBC in West Street at about 13:00 where he threatened staff and demanded cash, police say.

    I've heard back from the ambulance service about the three-car crash in Milton Keynes this morning.

    South Central Ambulance Service were called to Portway in Shenley Church End at 08:43 where they treated just one person, who was discharged at the scene having suffered only minor injuries.

    Former Welsh international and Peterborough United midfielder Jack Collison is offering a cash reward for anyone who can help find his car, which was stolen in Milton Keynes.

    His black Mercedes was taken from outside a casino in the town.

    Collison retired earlier this season at the age of 27 due to a knee injury. He now coaches younger players at Peterborough.

    Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has told today's news conference he is having to think very carefully about team selection.

    It comes ahead of a spell that includes not only this Saturday's game against West Brom, but a midweek meeting with West Ham and next weekend's FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace.

    He said: "I think it’s the first time during the season we have to think seriously in two matches – against West Brom and West Ham... I don't like to mix but in terms of choosing players we need to think about it. 

    "We will try to show players every single player has a good opportunity [to play at Wembley]. You ask the players what do you prefer, to play at Wembley or West Brom? Everyone would want to say Wembley but we say the most important match is the next one."

    Police are assuring locals after launching a murder investigation in Aylesbury, saying they believe the death of a six-month-old baby was "an isolated incident".

    Officers were called to a house on Narbeth Drive on 3 April to reports of a baby girl being taken ill. She later died at the scene. Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.  

    "We understand that local residents may be concerned about what has happened. A scene watch remains in place in Narbeth Drive and officers are in the area," Det Ch Insp Mike Lynch from Thames Valley Police said.

    A murder investigation has begun in Aylesbury after the death of a six-month-old baby.

    Police were called to reports that a baby had been taken ill at a house in Narbeth Drive at 16:30 on 3 April. The baby girl died at the scene.

    A criminal investigation was launched following an inconclusive post-mortem examination. A woman, 31, and a man, 33, were arrested last night on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.

    A campaign group demonstrating outside Aylesbury Vale District Council against plans to build 3,000 homes on the edge of Aylesbury say there have been almost 5,500 objection letters.

    Glynn White, 68, from the Hampden Fields Action Group, says there have been objections from residents in Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville, Weston Turville, Aston Clinton, Wendover and other villages in the area.

    The homes at Hampden Fields were rejected by the government last year, but developers Taylor Wimpey - who form a consortium with Aylesbury College and the Fairfield Partnership - have now submitted new plans.
